Terms of Use

Using Nerato
By using Nerato you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not upload documents or use the redaction service.
Nerato is a product of YesCapt. Questions and abuse reports can be sent to [email protected].
Your documents and permissions
You are responsible for the documents you upload and for ensuring that you have the legal right or other appropriate authority to process them.
Do not use Nerato to process documents in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of another person.
Automatic detection has limits
Nerato is designed to help identify and redact personal or sensitive information, including information in scanned documents. Automatic detection is not guaranteed to find every item.
You must review the detected results and the document preview before relying on the final redacted PDF. Manual redaction tools are provided for information that automatic detection misses.
Nerato should not be treated as a substitute for professional legal, compliance or information-security review where such review is required.
Temporary service
PDF processing sessions are temporary. Sessions normally expire after 15 minutes, and a successful redaction consumes the session.
Nerato is not a document-storage or backup service. Keep your own copy of any source or output document you need.
Service limits and availability
Technical limits may apply to file size, page count, OCR processing, request frequency and concurrent usage.
Requests may be rejected or delayed when limits are exceeded or when necessary to protect the service from abuse.
The service may be changed, suspended or temporarily unavailable for maintenance, security or operational reasons.
Prohibited use
You must not intentionally abuse the service, attempt to bypass security controls, interfere with availability, automate excessive requests, or use Nerato for unlawful activity.
Disclaimer and responsibility
Nerato is provided on an as-available basis. Although the service is tested carefully, no automated redaction system can guarantee perfect detection or suitability for every document.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service operator is not responsible for loss resulting from information that an automated detection step fails to identify, from a user's selection of redactions, or from use of an output document without appropriate review.
Changes
These Terms may be updated as Nerato evolves. The date shown at the top identifies the current version.
